Our Story

The goal of a school should lie in the well-being of its students in all aspects - be it the arts, academics, or athletic performance. Seldom does a school achieve these goals like Owasso. Owasso High School is internationally recognized as a school of elevated education and achievement with multiple opportunities for students to excel in our readily accessible facilities, such as the Idea Lab, Media Centers, and online initiatives.
Between our three campuses, Owasso continually strives for excellence through a multitude of opportunities provided to its students, that include varying scholarship programs, concurrent enrollment, and even a sister school in France. Coupled with our 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative, we supply every student with not only ground-breaking resources but also academic choice. With over 150 class options, we provide our students with a wide range of options as well as connections to  Tulsa Community College (TCC) and Tulsa Technolgy Center (TTC), even partnering with our community in order to provide internships with local businesses.
Since its establishment, Owasso High School has been the heart of the city’s community. Owasso is home to many rich traditions, such as Homecoming, Meet the Rams, and Trail Days, in which our students are always heavily involved. Through our many clubs and organizations like Student Council, Spirit Crew, and National Honor Societies, OHS bridges the gap between academic achievement and community involvement. With our mascot Rambo by our side, our school of over 3,000 students graduates almost 700 each year. Though they may leave our halls, they never leave our hearts. Once a Ram, Always a Ram.
