When
Where
Owasso High School - East Campus. There will be an orientation meeting in the Ram Cafe of the East Campus on May 27th @ 8:30 AM. Students will be assigned a room. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. Students may complete their courses early (before June 27th) if they choose.
Students will need to bring their Chromebooks, headphones, and chargers with them. We will not have these items available.
What
Credit Recovery courses will be offered for all four core subject areas. First-time credit courses are offered based on the availability of the certifications of staff.
All courses are offered via the Edgenuity online learning platform. Advanced Placement, Honors, and some electives will not be offered. Courses offered during the school year but not during the summer include the following: Sociology, Psychology, Computer Applications, Health Education, Lifetime Fitness, French, Chemistry, and Precalculus. We recommend utilizing the Success Center at Tulsa Tech for credit recovery or the CTRL program at Tulsa Tech for courses not offered through Owasso High School, as they can offer almost every course via their network of teachers and campuses.
Students may have multiple active classes at a time, though it is not recommended to have more than two. Extensions for Summer Courses are not available and all courses will be closed on June 28th at noon.
How
Forms may be picked up from the student's counselor. Students must get approval from their counselor to make sure they are in the proper courses. Then students will take the enrollment form to the main office of either the East or West Campus of the High School. Counselors will complete an application and submit it to Mr. Little. Mr. Little will send the student and their guardian an email confirming their enrollment and with all pertinent information to get the student started.
Cost
OHS Summer School is for OHS students only and is not open to students from other districts. Our Summer Programs are at capacity.
The cost is $50 for a Credit Recovery course ($25 for reduced). Only students who have failed the course are eligible for Credit Recovery. Students who received an NC (no credit) for a course are not eligible. Credit Recovery courses are not NCAA-compliant. Credit Recovery courses are available for most Core courses (Math, ELA, Social Studies, Science). Credit Recovery courses are not available for electives.
The cost is $125 for a First Time Credit course ($75 for reduced). These courses are subject to teacher availability. Please speak with your counselor before paying for your course because it may not be offered. Most Core subjects will be available.
Reduced rates and waivers may be available, please speak to your child's counselor.
Attendance Rules

All OHS Rules apply. The Academic Honesty Policy will be enforced. Violations of this policy may result in your dismissal. This policy is posted inside of Edgenuity for your review. Students who plagiarize, use AI, or computer applications or extensions to complete their work will be have their course deactivated and they will be dismissed from Summer School.

Students are expected to maintain target completion during Summer School.

Inactivity for eight (8) consecutive school days will result in your course(s) being deactivated.

No refunds for withdrawals for attendance or for removal for discipline.

Students who are asked to leave by the administrator during Summer School will be dismissed from the program.

Students must have their coursework completed by July 28th at noon.

Students must check their email, Edgenuity, announcements, and this website for updates regarding their courses.
