Welcome

Hello,

Welcome to English II and Yearbook. I feel very blessed to teach in the best school district in the state of Oklahoma. I graduated from Owasso High School in 1985, and received my Bachelor's in Education from Oklahoma State University. I taught for two years in the Edmond Public School District, before returning to Owasso. I am a die-hard Ram fan! My husband and I loved being involved in Ram athletics and enjoy watching our children do the same! I was voted "Most Spirited" of my senior class and some things definitely never change! I joke with my students, that they will catch my contagious spirit for the Rams if they don't already have it! My hobbies include traveling with my family, most likely to Disney, water and snow skiing, taking pictures and cheering on my Rams, OSU Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. 

 

I do have a passion for Disney and believe we can all be "Imagineers". It's easy to become complacent with life. We settle for "good enough" and we stop growing. Never stop moving forward with new and better ideas. Never stop growing and wanting to improve your life and the lives of others. I challenge us all to be Imagineers as we continue to write new chapters in our own individual stories every day. "Laughter is timeless, Imagination has no age, and Dreams are forever" - Walt Disney.
