OHS Secondary ELA Mission Statement

The Secondary English Department  ELA aspires to instruct students in the art and practice of effective communication, critical thinking, and necessary literacy skills that permeate all aspects of a student’s life.

...to another great year! I am so excited to be a part of your high school career. My goal is to help you grow as a reader, writer, editor, and speaker, as well as to prepare you for your life and education beyond high school. 

If you are struggling, I will gladly be available on Google Meet during our scheduled class time or another time we arrange. Please do not struggle quietly, there are no stupid questions, and it’s my job to help you when you need it. Feel free to ask for help or just send me a calendar invite to Google Meet!
