Mrs. Walls' Homepage

For as long as I can remember I have loved math. Math to me is the one subject that is constant, very rule driven, and concise. That I suppose is a good description of myself and probably why I have loved math so much. I hope to share this love of math with everyone I teach. I believe that with the right attitude anyone can do math!
I have taught math from elementary to the collegiate level. I received my bachelor’s and master’s from Northeastern State University. I am also the first person in my family to graduate from college, so I understand and have a great appreciation for life's challenges. I guess that also describes my determined and "go-getter" mindset. I think many things in life can be accomplished with a little determination and a positive attitude.
That determination also led me into running. I have run numerous races from 5ks to Marathons. I love being able to see new places, accomplish new goals, get some “me” time, and all while staying healthy. I have been lucky enough to have my husband running along my side with me for most of this journey, we call life. We have two children, a teenage daughter and a new baby boy, along with one dog and two cats. If I'm not teaching, then you can probably find me running, if I'm not running, then I am probably cuddled up next to one of my children, human or of the animal kind.
I look forward to seeing you in class!
