Coach Peaker

My name is Rickey Peaker and this is my fifth year at Owasso and fourteenth year teaching and coaching.  I began my teaching career at Bixby High School.  During that time, I taught high school lifetime sports classes.  I also coached varsity basketball and helped with the softball, volleyball, and golf programs at various times.  After leaving Bixby, I took a position at Union High School.  While at Union, I oversaw the intervention program and taught high school health.  I was also a high school basketball coach during my time at Union and was fortunate enough to be part of the 2014 state championship team.  At Owasso, I have taught weight training, credit recovery and high school health classes.  I am also a varsity assistant coach for the boys’ basketball team.

I am a 2002 graduate of Chouteau High School.  While in high school, I was a member of the basketball, football, cross country, and track teams.  After high school I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University in 2009.  In 2015 I obtained my master’s degree in school administration from East Central University.

During my free time I love spending time with my wife and kids.  I have four kids, Trey (11), James (9), Stella (6), and Kinley (4).  I also enjoy playing various sports and working out.
